Today my husband has to work until late again. And I'm home alone with my lil' one in my tummy.
Really don't have much to do, since we haven't done our weekly groceries shopping yet.
We are going to have Pizza for dinner, so I do not need to cook anything today. I still have a piece of Pork Rib and a plate of Fried Vermicelli in my fridge which I will keep it for my husband's lunchbox tomorrow.
He's gonna buy some potatoes and carrots on his way home tonight and also a pack of chicken liver. I can make soup with meat balls and Hati Ayam Balado for tomorrow menu.
But for my lunch today, I decided to make a simple Nasi Goreng for myself, using ingredients left in the fridge.
Here's what i need:
30 gr of Brown onion, chop.
1 shallot and 1 garlic, chop.
2 eggs, beat.
1 spring onion, thinly sliced
1 or 2 plates of rice. (use rice which cooked last night, do not use your freshly cooked rice, it will be too sticky to make a fried rice)
2 tbs sweet soy sauce
1 tbs soy sauce
How to make:
~ Heat some oil in the pan. Saute the brown onion, shallot and garlic until they smells good.
~ Put in the eggs, make scramble. Put in the spring onion, mixed well.
~ Throw in the rice, and the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt and pepper.
~ Mix them all well, and serve.
Well that's my lunch for today. Still another 4 hours to go until my husband arrive at home. Miss him terribly. :)
